The outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic has not only claimed lives but also gravely hit occupations on a scale beyond imagination. This situation has taken a toll on lives leaving the weaker sections of society helpless and in starvation.

As soon as lockdown was implemented in India in March 2020, Mahatma Gandhi School reached out to 30,000+ needy and starved families including the families of our students, 2000+ sex workers in Budhwar Peth area of Pune along side others affected by the pandemic. We provided them with food grains and other sanitary essentials.
